Hobby Hill Farm Fresh Cooking Classes

Alright I have a confession: I am an awful cook. Embarrassingly bad. I constantly burn water, under season chicken, and don’t even get me started on my disastrous attempts with confectioners sugar. I swear the cooking gene skipped right over me.

If you’re anything like me—someone who’s bravely stumbling through the journey of “trying to adult” and attempting to whip up meals that aren’t just edible, but also delicious—then I’ve got some exciting news for you. Introducing one of Trying to Adults’ fabulous Community Partners: Hobby Hill!

Founded by Sharon Munyak back in 2006, Hobby Hill Farm is all about teaching people how to cook. Sharon offers both in-person and online classes that are simply fantastic. Trying to Adult has teamed up with Hobby Hill for five events now, and they’ve quickly become a favorite among our group. During these events, we’ve tackled everything from crafting perfect cinnamon buns to whipping up our own mozzarella for homemade pizza. And I cannot forget to mention the chocolate covered strawberries. Basically, we’ve been mastering all the delicious goodies that are sure to wow at your next dinner party.

But it’s not just about impressing friends (though that’s definitely a perk). It’s also about learning to cook wholesome, homemade food that actually tastes good and is good for you. Sharon’s classes are a true game-changer for anyone looking to up their culinary skills without the usual kitchen disasters.

So, do yourself a favor and check out Hobby Hill’s website here (and maybe treat yourself to some of their yummy jams while you’re at it)! And be sure to keep an eye on Trying to Adult’s website for updates on upcoming Hobby Hill events—you won’t want to miss out.

Here’s to making (and eating) some super delicious food!
