Walk in the Park: Deep Run

Our next RVActive installment is at Deep Run Park in Henrico which features ponds, walkways, playgrounds, and open spaces. There are 3.4 miles of paved trails. We’ll start with the Deep Run Loop, which is 1.6 miles. Alltrails says it is generally considered an easy route, and should take an average of 34 min to complete. From there, we can walk other paths, or call it a night!
Potential notes of caution: This is a busy park and there are often lots of people, bikes, and dogs. There is also ample wildlife in the ponds and woods.
Parking:
This park has plentiful, free parking.
Meeting Point:
We will meet out front of the Recreation Center. From there, we will start the loop which goes around the ponds, through woods, and back to the recreation center.
Weather:
This event may be cancelled due to inclement weather. The event host will make the call one hour prior to the start of the event. If the event is cancelled all paid tickets will be refunded.
Tickets:
This event is free for all members and $5 for non-members. All attendees must have a confirmed ticket to attend.
