James River White Water Rafting

Join us for an adventurous event on the James River! We had a lot of fun last year and are excited to go again.
The trip takes ~3 hours, including shuttle time and instruction on land. Folks are invited to hang out on the Riverside Outfitters porch and enjoy a complimentary beverage post-trip and can linger as long as they want.
The trips run rain or shine. Summer storms often pass quickly, and, on the river, we already expect to get wet. If Riverside Outfitters decides to cancel for a larger storm or any other reason, you will get a full refund or the ability to reschedule.
They will give us all the gear and instruction we need on land. We will then be shuttled to the lower river for our white water rafting trip! Each raft will have a guide to keep us going in the right path.
Price to join this event is $75 for premium members and $79 for everyone else. Space is limited to 20 people.

We will meet at Riverside Outfitters and they will guide us on where to park after checking in. I encourage you to bring some cash for tipping your guide. They also accept venmo.
REFUND POLICY – PLEASE READ BELOW!
Once you purchase a ticket, you are expected to show for that event. If you can no longer attend, you are responsible for finding a replacement. The replacement must be a current Trying to Adult RVA member unless otherwise approved by someone on the leadership team. It doesn’t matter if they are a regular member or premium member. The best way to find a replacement is to post a comment on the specific Meetup event page. Once you find a replacement, message Sam and she will assist with the exchange. If you cannot find someone to claim your spot, you will forfeit the cost paid.
